Basil Silver - Small Animal Cage

Built for animals that need more than floor space

Dwarf hamsters and mice are instinct-driven animals. They climb, explore, hide and rest in cycles throughout the day, and a cage that gives them only a flat floor limits this behaviour quickly. The Savic Basil addresses this with a two-level small animal home: a ground floor with room for bedding and a shelter, and an upper platform connected by a ladder where the animal can rest away from the activity below. At 67.5 x 49 x 37 cm, the cage fits practical for most home environments while giving dwarf hamsters and mice enough floor space to arrange properly.

Complete from the moment you open the box

Most small animal cages arrive without the accessories the animal actually needs. Owners then source a platform, a hideaway, a food bowl and a drinking bottle separately, hoping each part fits the cage they purchased. The Savic Basil removes this step entirely. The cage ships with a platform, a ladder, a shelter, a food bowl and a 150 ml drinking bottle. This is a complete small animal home setup for dwarf hamsters and mice, ready to use after assembly, with no missing parts and no compatibility concerns.

Easy access for daily care

The Savic Basil has a large front door that opens wide for full access to the interior. For daily feeding and handling this matters: the animal is less disturbed and the owner has a direct route to the food bowl and drinking bottle. The wire top lifts off the base tray in one move for a complete interior clean. All accessories detach without tools.

A calm presence in any room

The Savic Basil combines silver wire with a light grey base tray and light blue accessories. The overall profile is calm and restrained, a small animal enclosure that integrates into a living room, bedroom or study without becoming the dominant visual element in the space. The 6.5 mm wire spacing keeps dwarf hamsters and mice safely inside while maintaining good visibility and ventilation throughout.  The Savic Basil gives dwarf hamsters and mice the structure they need to behave naturally, and sits in a room without drawing unnecessary attention to itself.
